Jason Liu, MD- President chAIR
Jason Liu, MD grew up in Plano, Texas, and received his bachelor's degree at Duke University in biomedical engineering. He received his medical degree and completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Toledo College of Medicine. He practices medicine in Columbia, SC and serves as a clinical assistant professor medicine at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Jason does not believe that healthcare is a guarantee of good health and advocates to focus on day to day lifestyle and nutrition as the key to his patients’ health.
Outside of his work, he is a very active member of the Basilica of St. Peter in Columbia. He enjoys golf, time with his kids, and family beach trips. He and his wife have a lifelong goal to step foot in every State together at least once.
lINDSAY bAKER- vICE cHAIR
Lindsay Baker is a registered dietitian with a diverse background spanning clinical practice, management, and medical sales. She practiced clinically for eight years before transitioning into a management role and later joining Kate Farms as a territory sales manager. Currently, Lindsay works at Alcresta Therapeutics as a an account manager for RELiZORB, a medical device supporting patients with complex nutritional needs.
Lindsay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Education from Georgia Southern University and later returned to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science. She lives in Atlanta with her two beloved pups, Potter and Gryffin, and enjoys traveling, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
